About Us

Dr. Nick Chicoine is a Sioux City native and has over 10 years’ experience in the conservative treatment of spinal disorders.  He graduated from Bishop Heelan high school in 2004 and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Northern Iowa in 2007.  Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Nick graduated from Parker University in Dallas Texas where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2010.

In addition to his extensive undergraduate and doctoral education, Dr. Nick received specialized training in Chiropractic Bio-Physics (CBP) through an intensive series of pre and post graduate seminars and internships.  Upon graduation Dr. Nick moved to Elko Nevada where he trained under Dr. Deed Harrison, the nation’s leading researcher in chiropractic methodologies regarding spinal bio mechanics and the correction of postural disorders.  Dr. Nick is a 3rd generation Chiropractor and brings passion, mastery, discipline, and dedication that will drive ADIO Chiropractic by serving the Siouxland Community.  

Lexi Kohn Chicoine is a board certified family nurse practitioner with a strong background in internal medicine. She is experienced in treating and managing complex diseases while focusing on the reduction of pharmaceuticals and promoting health, wellness, and relative independence. Since becoming a nurse practitioner, Lexi has gained special interest in the treatment of endocrine disorders. Lexi sets herself apart from other practitioners by offering an alternative to artificial hormone replacement by providing bio identical hormone replacement (BIOTE) in addition to primary care services.

Lexi has been providing evidence based care to the Siouxland area since 2017 and accepts all major insurance plans. Lexi is joining forces with her husband Dr. Nick Chicoine to further serve patients so they can receive complete care and wellness, fulfilling a mutual vision to empower healthy living across Siouxland.
