Dr. Nick Chicoine is a Sioux City native and has over 8 years’ experience in the conservative treatment of spinal disorders. He graduated from Bishop Heelan high school in 2004 where he excelled in Football, Track and academics. Dr. Nick completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Northern Iowa in 2007 and is a graduate of Parker University in Dallas Texas where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2010.
In addition to his extensive undergraduate and doctoral education, Dr. Nick received specialized training in Chiropractic Bio-Physics (CBP) through an intensive series of pre and post graduate seminars and internships. Upon graduation Dr. Nick moved to Elko Nevada where he trained under Dr. Deed Harrison, the nation’s leading researcher in chiropractic methodologies regarding spinal bio mechanics and the correction of postural disorders. During his time in Elko, Dr. Nick was fortunate to further his understanding of the clinical application of non-surgical spinal reconstruction protocols which provides an easily digestible, patient centered method of maintaining healthy independence.
Dr. Nick was born into Chiropractic and brings passion, mastery, discipline, and dedication that will drive ADIO Chiropractic by serving the north side territory of Sioux City along with the surrounding Siouxland Community.
When Dr. Nick isn’t saving the world from spinal misalignments and unhealthy dietary and postural habits, you can usually find him with his amazing fiancé’ Alexandria (Lexi) Kohn who happens to be a Nurse Practitioner at Siouxland Adult medicine. They have been together for roughly 4 years and live with their dog Bailey Girl at their Northside residence. In his free time, Dr. Nick enjoys listening to records on vinyl, watching independent movies, the occasional craft beer and is a passionate Oakland Raiders fan as well as a closet WWE fan. Dr. Nick loves to play frisbee golf and recently designed the course at Leif Erikson Park for the Sioux City Parks department of which is set to open officially in spring 2019. Dr. Nick hopes to empower you to be the healthiest version of yourself and looks forward to helping you navigate down the highway to healthier lifestyle.
